Tigers Announce Scholarship Signings for 2027

Castleford Tigers are delighted to announce the acquisition of 16 players from 8 different community clubs around West Yorkshire that will all be part of the clubs Scholarship side for the 2027 Season.

The players were invitied to a special signing day event at The OneBore Stadium earlier this week, where they were welcomed to the club alongside family and friends. First team head coach Ryan Carr was in attendance to greet the youngsters, who will become the latest additions to our successful youth development programme at Wheldon Road.

 

Head of Youth Matty Faulkner said: "We’re delighted to welcome such a talented group of young players into our pathway. A huge amount of credit must go to our Head of Talent Identification, Steve Copley, and team whose hard work and dedication over the past 12 months has been instrumental in assembling this exciting cohort. I’d also like to recognise the community clubs, coaches and volunteers who have played such an important role in developing these players. We’re incredibly privileged that these young athletes have chosen to continue their development with Castleford Tigers. We look forward to supporting them on the next stage of their journey and helping them reach their full potential.”
