REPORT: Hull KR v Castleford Tigers

It was another night to forget in East Hull, with a 50-6 defeat to Hull KR for Cas on Thursday night.
The Robins had the best of the early minutes of the game, and the Robins made the most of a penalty for offside on the Tigers’ try line with Karl Lawton crashing over to put them ahead ten minutes in.
He made it a double just six minutes later - a six-again call was made, and he scrambled from dummy-half in a flash to extend the lead.
Just as the Tigers seemed to be growing in to the game, a handling error gave Tom Amone an easy opportunity to give the home side their third of the evening.
A fourth came just past the half-hour mark through Tom Davies, who scored on the last after a number of plays on the Cas line, not helped by a six-again and a knock-on after a high kick.
His first three conversion kicks had been straightforward, but this one was an impressive kick from out on the right to take it up to 24-0.
A fifth came as Elliot Minchella put a grubber kick through for Hadley to pounce upon and touch down.
Seconds before half-time, Tom Davies got on the end of a quick play to finish the half on a high.
HALF-TIME: Hull KR 34-0 Castleford Tigers
The second half was no better, and a handling error in the in-goal area gave Mikey Lewis a try.
A sustained six-minute period of pressure on the opposition line from Cas came, but was ended by a knock-on, and KR then went up the other end with Joe Burgess getting on the end of a scrappy play to score.
Tom Davies then had his hat-trick out wide on the right to take Hull KR to 50 points.
A consolation came from Krystian Mapapalangi just before the hooter, with a good kick from Asi putting the away side on the board.
