REPORT: Castleford Tigers v Hull FC

It was a disappointing performance and a 50-10 defeat to Hull FC for the Castleford Tigers on Friday night, at the OneBore Stadium.
Just six minutes in, an Amir Bourouh break gave FC a chance, and he handed the ball off to Jake Arthur who went through to score between the sticks, and the conversion was made.
Tom Briscoe was in for a quick second out wide, but this time the kick went wide.
Following a missed obstruction at the other end, Davy Liteen danced through the defence to add a third - and Connor Bailey got on the end of a grubber to complete a strong attacking half for the away side.
Penalties and six-agains finally started going the way of the Tigers, and Krystian Mapapalangi made his way over the line to get the Tigers on the board, but after Tom Weaver’s conversion the Tigers remained behind by 14 points at half-time.
It didn’t get any easier in the second-half, as Lewis Murphy got first to a kick over the top, and scored to extend the lead. Hardaker again missed the conversion.
Davy Litten then had his second try of the night, going through a gap in the defence to add an easy six points.
Hardaker then went through the defence to score despite the Tigers handing it over close to the opposition’s line the previous set, thanks to a good Harry Newman break sending them up the field.
Halfway through the second half, the video referee checked for a try but it was grounded by Cas first and a drop-out was given, which doesn't make it 10 yards and Connor Bailey went through to score.
FC thought they had another, but the try was disallowed by the video referee for obstruction.
Mapapalangi then had this second, he rose highest to a good kick from Tom Weaver, and spun round to add another. However, the conversion hit the post - and Cade Cust almost immediately scored for the away side, before Yusuf Aydin added another before the end.
Full-time: Castleford Tigers 10-50 Hull FC
