Fords Events announce Open Day for training pitch unveiling

Fords Events are delighted to announce a Bank Holiday Open day, a completely free event for the people of Castleford and the surrounding areas. The event will see the ribbon officially cut on our amazing new 3G pitch at the OneBore Stadium. 

On Sunday 24th May, starting from 11.30am, as well as an exclusive ribbon-cutting, we want to encourage the kids in our area to bring a ball down and enjoy the new pitches too. There will be coaches on hand to help coordinate games and the fun will not stop there! 

The Legends Bars will be open, there will be music on our new stage in the FanZone and we will be screening the final day of the Premier League football season too.

CEO Danny Wilson said, “The aim of creating the FanZone, building the 3G and improving a lot of the facilities has been to create a community hub and give back to the people in this region who have remained loyal to our Club for the past 100 years. This latest event will give everyone a chance to come down on a non-match day, enjoy the venue and help us showcase the all-new 3G pitch too.”
