Tigers engage with local schools ahead of Huddersfield game

Last week, Castleford players visited local schools to hand out tickets ahead of our Huddersfield home fixture on Friday 27th February.
They were given physical vouchers, which will entitle them to a free child ticket when bought with an adult ticket.
It was a great opportunity to engage with the local community - with pupils at Fairburn View Primary, Castleford Park Junior Academy, Lady Elizabeth Hastings C of E Primary, Brigshaw High and Kippax Greenfield getting to meet some players and take advantage of the offer.
Next week, we will visit more schools and colleges, furthering our connection to the area.
Castleford Tigers Foundation manager, Amy Hardman, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer our local schools and colleges this fantastic opportunity to join us in celebrating the club’s Centenary year.
"It’s an exciting time for the club as we enter a new era, and initiatives like this help us build strong, lasting connections with our local community."
Tickets for the game against Huddersfield remain on-sale here.
