IN CONVERSATION: Zac Cini

Tigers man Zac Cini is looking forward to kicking on in his second season in Cas colours.

He scored five tries in 22 appearances in 2025, filling in at fullback at times alongside his main position in the centres - something he's also had to do this year.

We caught up with him after a strong start to his campaign.

Q: Are you looking forward to kicking on in your second season with the club?

A: Yeah, really pleased to be back to playing games again! I got a chance to see what Cas is about last season and keen to really to take things to a new level.

Q: How different are you finding things in comparison to last year?

A: It’s a bit different... the passion and effort is still there, but there’s a lot more clarity around what we need to do to win! There are also some really good signings that will help us make a statement.

Q: What can Cas fans expect from you this season?

A: This season isn’t just about playing each week, I want to win, and I feel like there’s a lot I can contribute to that! Effort is the the main thing from each player in the team - and then individual skill can take over.
