Doolan leaves on loan

Castleford Tigers can confirm that hooker Aiden Doolan has joined RFL Championship side Barrow Raiders on a season-long loan.

The highly-rated 22-year-old joined Castleford on a two-year deal ahead of the 2026 campaign.

The deal sees him return to Barrow after a short-term deal with the club in 2025, where he will be a key member of the first-team setup.

Tigers Director of Rugby, Chris Chester, said: “It gives Aiden the chance to play his rugby at a Championship club while allowing us to monitor his development through the loan system.

"It’s a great opportunity for him to grow and be ready when he’s called upon for the Castleford Tigers.”
