Vacancy: Media and Marketing Executive

ROLE PURPOSE

Castleford Tigers are seeking a Media & Marketing Executive to sit at the intersection of Commercial, Marketing and Club Media, helping to connect supporter data, campaign planning and content delivery.

The role will own the club’s fan data and CRM activity, support digital ticketing and retail marketing, and coordinate the delivery of commercial, events and partner-led campaigns across club channels.

This position will play a key role in ensuring that marketing activity is data-led, joined-up and delivered at pace, while maintaining brand consistency and supporting commercial growth.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Fan Data, CRM & ECRM

• Manage the club’s supporter database and ECRM activity.

• Build, test and deploy email marketing campaigns.

• Segment supporter audiences for targeted messaging.

• Support GDPR-compliant consent and data accuracy.

• Maintain CRM, ticketing and ecommerce integrations.

 

Digital Ticketing Marketing

• Support digital ticketing marketing activity.

• Coordinate match on-sale campaigns.

• Improve supporter journeys and campaign performance.

 

Retail & Ecommerce Marketing

• Plan and deliver retail marketing campaigns.

• Support ecommerce-linked CRM activity.

• Align retail campaigns with wider marketing plans.

 

Commercial & Events Campaign Planning

• Create marketing plans for commercial and events activity.

• Coordinate delivery across marketing and media channels.

• Support hospitality, events and partner campaigns.

 

Commercial Partner Content & Activation

• Coordinate partner marketing activity.

• Manage planned and ad hoc partner content.

• Ensure brand consistency and timely delivery.

• Support basic partner reporting.

 

Reporting, Insight & Optimisation

• Monitor and report on campaign performance.

• Share insights with internal teams.

• Support a test-and-learn approach

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Experience in marketing or digital marketing.

• Hands-on email marketing or CRM experience.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

 

Desirable

• Experience in professional sport or entertainment.

• Knowledge of ticketing or ecommerce systems.

• Experience supporting commercial partnerships.

• Understanding of GDPR principles.
