The signing of Griffin looks a shrewd piece of business from the Tigers following another stellar year from the versatile forward.
A Grand Finalist with Salford in 2019, the Cas coaching staff knew what they were getting from the steely Griffin and went on to show it on the biggest stages during the Red Devils’ play-off run.
Able to play in either the front or back row, Griffin brings consistency on both sides of the ball and has a real steeliness about his game whether he’s playing on an edge or through the middle. He’s chalked over 150 appearances at the likes of Hull KR, London and at Canberra Raiders feeder club Queanbeyan Kangaroos too, so he’s got plenty of experience.
