Cas face Salford in Cup quarter-final

Castleford Tigers will take on Salford Red Devils for a spot in the semi-finals of the Betfred Challenge Cup 2021.

The quarter-finals are scheduled to be played at a neutral venue as two double-headers, played on neutral ground, with Sky Sports to televise two ties on Friday, 7th May, and the BBC to televise two on Saturday, 8th May.

The Tigers secured their spot in the final eight with a dramatic victory over Hull KR 32-32 on Friday night, highlights of that game can be watched on Tigers TV. On Saturday afternoon, the Red Devils got a strong win over Widnes Vikings 68-4 to be in the Cup draw.

It means that Cas and Salford will face each other in back-to-back weeks, first in Round Six of Betfred Super League on 30th April at the AJ Bell Stadium, and then the Challenge Cup quarter-final with full details of date and venue to be confirmed.
