Daryl Powell has named his 21-man squad for the third round of the Betfred Challenge Cup 2021.

Castleford Tigers take on Hull Kingston Rovers at Hull College Craven Park on Friday evening at 6pm, with the winner progressing through to the quarter finals of the historic tournament.

The Tigers' Head Coach makes only one change to the squad that was victorious over Leeds Rhinos on Good Friday, with Lewis Peachey making way for Gareth O’Brien who missed out last week due to concussion protocols.

Castleford will be aiming to make it three wins from three in the 2021 season, after an impressive opening round victory over Warrington Wolves, then a bruising and gritty win over the Rhinos.

Tony Smith’s KR side have lost their opening two matches of this campaign, an agonising golden point defeat to Catalans Dragons in Round One after Rovers fought back from 28-4 down, and then last week falling to the champions St Helens 25-0.

The Robins and the Tigers have already faced one another this year during the pre-season, with Castleford claiming a 20-30 win in Adam Milner’s testimonial game. Highlights of that game can be watched on Tigers TV, for free.
