As of Round 3, commencing on Thursday, 15th April, clubs will be returning to playing matches at their own grounds, some for the first time in over twelve months.

Sky Sports will broadcast six games over the three rounds announced today, seeing Super League return to its regular Thursday and Friday night slot.

The confirmed three Tigers fixtures are:

  • Castleford Tigers vs Leigh Centurions – Friday, 16th April – The Mend-A-Hose Jungle – 6pm – Live on Our League
  • Wigan Warriors vs Castleford Tigers – Thursday, 22nd April – 6pm – DW Stadium – Live on Our League
  • Salford Red Devils vs Castleford Tigers – Friday, 30th April – 7.45pm – AJ Bell Stadium – Live on Sky Sports

Round 3 will be Castleford’s first home match at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle of the 2021 Super League season. It will also be the first meeting between the Tigers and the Centurions since 2017.

In Round 4, Castleford are on the road with a trip to the DW Stadium to take on last year’s League Leaders’ Shield winners Wigan Warriors.

Castleford’s fifth-round fixtures will be live on Sky Sports when Daryl Powell’s men take on Richard Marshall’s Salford Red Devils at the AJ Bell Stadium.

All games, both televised and non-televised, will continue to be streamed for season ticket holders via Our League whilst matches remain behind closed doors. Castleford Tigers will confirm details of how Season Ticket holders will get access to Our League streams in due course.

The selection of 6pm kick-offs for non-Sky selected games on Thursdays and Friday, gives certain season ticket holders a great opportunity to watch back-to-back Betfred Super League games on Our League and Sky Sports.

Rhodri Jones, Super League chief commercial officer, said: “We are delighted to be able confirm the next three rounds of fixtures and thank our clubs and broadcaster partner, Sky Sports for working with us to achieve this.”

“Clubs returning to their home grounds marks a significant step on the road back to normality and the scheduled return of partial crowds in May.”
