The Strength and Conditioning Coach will take a lead on the physical preparation of all players in the Academy environment with long-term athlete development in mind.

Working in conjunction with club's medical staff, the role will see the integration of individual ‘pre-hab’ needs into individualised gym-based programmes and also ensure general ‘pre-hab’ needs and considerations are embedded into both gym and field-based planning and delivery.

The role will also include working closely with the Academy Head Coach around the planning and delivery of integrated on-field physical preparation and conditioning aligned to the principles of tactical periodisation.

Management and support of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coaches will also compliment wider areas of work as well as the promotion of standards and culture identified in the Tigers' youth development cultural footprint.

The successful applicant will need to be available to commit to two evenings a week initially due to current Covid-19 restrictions. The start date will be Wednesday, 2nd December 2020.

Interviews for this position will be conducted via Zoom.

This is a voluntary role and would suit a post-graduate looking for additional experience within a professional sporting environment.
