Castleford Tigers would like to send their sincere condolences to Peter Beal’s family following his passing on Sunday 20th September after a battle with illness. His son James will continue to run the successful family business, which was established back in 1981 out of Peter’s garage at his home in South Milford.

Craig Jeffels Head of Commercial Partnerships at the Tigers said: “I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to Pete’s family both personally and on behalf of the club.  Pete was a great bloke with a genuine love for the Tigers and Rugby League as a whole.

"I know James has been holding the fort at JP Plant Hire over the last 12 months during Pete’s illness, and I am sure he will continue the success his father started all those years ago from his garage! Pete was a gentleman, and his death is a great loss to all that knew him.”
