Tigers Squad named for Saints

Head Coach Daryl Powell has named his 21-man squad for this Sunday’s home match against St Helens.

Castleford Tigers' first game at The Jungle in March sees them come up against 2019’s Super League champions St Helens, in what should be a blockbuster clash.

Great news for Liam Watts as he returns to the match day squad after missing out last week due to rupturing tendons in his finger, but this injury was not as bad as originally feared and the Tigers #8 steps back into the fold. Oliver Holmes also received positive injury news ahead of this round of fixtures and he should be back available within a couple of weeks.

For the second time this season, 17-year-old England Youth full back Bailey Hodgson is in the Fords’ 21-man squad and is pushing to make his First Team/Super League debut.

After two wins from the opening two home matches against Wigan and Wakefield, Cas’ aim on Sunday will be to make it a hat-trick of Jungle victories and further cement their intent of making Wheldon Road a fortress in 2020.

The best way to experience this match it is to join us at The Jungle!
