Ramsdens to extend sponsorship into 2020

The extension which was signed ahead of the first Super League match of the season will see Ramsdens continue to sponsor the Tigers Try of the Month alongside now sponsoring our tunnel and dugout area.

For fans following the Tigers across the globe Ramsdens offers fantastic rates on foreign currency, including Canadian Dollars and the Euro, meaning that fans can travel to Toronto and Perpignan with more cash in their pocket to enjoy the game and explore the local area.

Taking the partnership even further Ramsdens will be supporting the Castleford Tigers Foundation during 2020 through its local initiative "Coins for Cas". Locals returning from the holidays abroad can donate any unspent coins through a collection box in the Ramsdens Castleford store. All money collected through the year will be donated to the charity.

Rosalind Nunns, Castleford Branch Manager, Ramsdens said: “We’re thrilled to be sponsoring the Tigers for another year and hope to get the players down to our branch for a number of meet and greets throughout the season. We’re supporting them all the way and are especially excited to see the team challenge the Wolfpack and Dragons in Canada and France this season. For any fans jetting off to support the Tigers, be sure to stop by Ramsdens to secure great rates on currency before you head off.”

Craig Jeffels, Commercial Manager at Castleford Tigers added: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Ramsdens into 2020, and are particularly grateful for their support of the Castleford Tigers Foundation. The Ramsdens brand is a fantastic part of our community and high street here in Castleford. 2020 is set to be an exciting year for the Tigers, with a number of away fixtures taking place across the globe, and we are excited for some of our fans to join us!’

Ramsdens in Castleford offers customers great value on everyday products and services, including new and pre-owned jewellery and watches, travel money, pawnbroking, cheque cashing and gold buying.
