Tigers College of Rugby League Open Day 12th February

Those interested are encouraged to register early to avoid disappointment!

On Wednesday 12th February, Castleford Tigers College of Rugby League will be holding an open day event at Airedale Academy. The purpose of the open day will be to showcase our BTEC Sport and Rugby programme, open to those 16+. The course opens a pathway to university whilst discovering the world of rugby league and students will receive a fully-recognised level 3 National Extended Diploma, equivalent to 3 A-levels.

The open day should cover:

  • Course time table
  • The education programme and course content provided by Virtual Learning UK
  • Pathways into the male and female game at Castleford Tigers
  • The rugby programme

In attendance will be Airedale Academy Head of 6th Form, Liz Harrop, lecturer Adam Powell from Virtual Learning UK, as well as site leader Danny Evans, the Tigers' Head Scholarship Coach and Pathway Leader.

If you're interested please confirm your attendance at the earliest convenience. Parents are also welcome at this event and there will be the opportunity to ask questions about the programme.
