Solomona’s new contract will keep him at Castleford until the end of the 2018 season.

The New Zealander joined the Tigers at the start of the 2015 season from London Broncos after just one season with the southern club.

He appeared 21 times for the Broncos scoring 10 tries in 2014 after moving from NRL club Melbourne Storm.

During the 2015 Super League season Solomona battled through a number of injuries only making 15 starts but impressively scoring 18 tries.

The 22-year old winger is over the moon to have agreed a new deal with the Tigers: “I’m so happy to have extended my deal to stay here at Cas Tigers for the coming three seasons. Everyone has made me feel at home here and we have a great team both on and off the pitch. I’m surrounded by players and coaches who are helping me to constantly improve my game, and I know I can continue to grow as a player in this environment,”

Solomona added: “Nothing comes close to playing here at the Jungle! Our fans are awesome and I can’t wait to get back to business when the new season begins in February.”

Tigers head coach, Daryl Powell is delighted to have the young winger tied up for the foreseeable future: “Denny can become the best winger in Super League if he continues the hard work and application he has shown so far this pre season. He is a natural finisher with speed to burn. I’m looking forward to helping him achieve his huge potential over the next three years.”

Tigers CEO Steve Gill is thrilled to have secured Solomona's services: “Denny can be one of the most exciting wingers on his day, and he has really settled in here at the Tigers. We are looking forward to seeing him progress further in the next few years.”

The clock is ticking now for Tigers fans wishing to purchase a 2016 Season Ticket at early bird prices. Early bird prices will end at 5pm on Monday 23 November. Season tickets can be purchased online here and in store at the Tigers Den club shop. Fans signing up in store before 5pm on 23 November can also take the option to spread the cost over 6 monthly direct debits.
